Student Selected to be
Superintendent for a Day
May 28, 2008

A Jacksonville High School Senior had a chance to view life from the other side of the desk when selected to be “Superintendent for a Day.” He was selected for the honor in a random drawing held for participants in a Ethics Education program conducted at JHS and Jacksonville Middle School by Mr. Steve Goode. The Acting Superintendent spent the day learning the finer points of the job. When asked what he thought about the job, he responded, “It’s a lot harder than it looks.”
